Kaaren Douglas is the New Los Angeles Networking Guide Editor

I am excited to be working with NEF to promote networking in the Greater LA Area. Prior to coming to the Networking Guide, I have been an avid networker all of my life. I have a reputation as being THE ONE who maintains friendships through thick and thin, with creative use of letters to friends and family, then phone calls when I could , then emails when they became available, yes, texting, and all social media platforms, and now back to cards (I represent an online card program that makes it so easy: Douglas Marketing Concepts, I have been networking from my home base in Thousand Oaks/Westlake all the way south to Marina del Rey, west to Pasadena, and north to Camarillo. I have even started having networking events in my home, to facilitate people who are not part of a chamber or leads group to have another way to meet each other. Bringing people together to help them generate business is fun for me, and I believe in synergy. When we help others, it always comes back to us many times over.

Since I started my own business,

I became active on LinkedIn and through that resource was introduced to Mindy. I got very excited that I could share some of the meetings I attend, interview people I meet, and promote events all around the Los Angeles area. How exciting it is to be part of NEF and to be meeting so many great people.

Prior to working with NEF, I have written and published a book, many articles, and am currently working on another book, all in the medical area. Rather than only seeing people when they were sick in my private family pracitce, I now get to make them feel good by sending them cards. You can’t beat it.
